Our Return Policy
Items will be accepted for refund or credit or exchange if in unused condition within 14 days from the date of the invoice.
Within 48 hours after you have recieved the order you have to inform us about your dissatisfaction of your purchase by contacting us at info@istanbuldreams.com
The items must be returned with the original receipt/invoice in the original condition as it was when we sent it. This means that it musn’t been worn, mustn’t be damaged by any means, musn’t have bad smelling. If the items appear to have been worn, damaged or smelling, we reserve the right to refuse refund privileges.
A copy of the packing slip/invoice confirmation must be included with your return.
Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable.
Wholesale items, special orders, troupe orders and sale items are not returnable. Made-to-measure items will be assessed a 25% restocking fee if returned. S
Use an insured shipping method, we will not be held responsible for stolen, lost or damaged packages. Return goods will only be accepted when sufficient postage covers the return. The customer is completely responsible for return shipping costs.Usee a shipping
If the item is to be exchanged, shipment will be charged to resend the exchanged item back to the customer.
Please do not just send the items back to us without informing us.
Placing An Order
To place an order click on the picture of the item you want to purchase. The picture will pop-up and next to the picture a schedule will appear in which you will leave your details. Then click on ‘add to cart’. If you want to purchase more items, click on ‘continue shopping’ if you want to finish your order click on ‘to buy – check out’. The order form will appear which you have to fill in completely. Then click on ‘send my request and finish my order process!’. In maximum 48 hours you will be contacted by email to inform you about payment options, shipment fee and the necessary production time for your order.
The items shown in the ‘Ready-To-Buy’ section are in stock unless there is written ‘sold’ under the picture. The other items are not in stock and will need a production time.
In general we work with Aramex and DHL shipment companies. Shipment can be tracked either at www.aramex.com or www.dhl.com.
If you buy from our website over 150 Euro and 200 usd you will have a free shipment. istanbuldreams.com remains the right to decide with which cargo company the order will be sent. In this case cargo can also be done by postoffice.

Wholesale
We do offer wholesale and bulk discounts. Wholesale discounts are given with the assumption that the items are being purchased for the purpose of resale, not pursonal use. Please e-mail us at info@istanbuldreams.com and inform us in which items you are interested. Our wholesale starts with a minimum of 10 pieces per item.
Handmade
The costumes and most of our other products are all handmade. They are made with the greatest care and attention to detail. However when you make an order there may be slight differences in beading and patterning on the costume, but in general there will be taken great care to make your order look as much as possible like the costume that you ordered as pictured.

To determine your cupsize, measure your breasts at the fullest part like shown in the picture, then measure your underbreastsize, like shown in the picture. Now you will calculate your fullest breastsize minus your underbreastsize. The result will determine your cupsize.

To determine your hipsize you have to measure at the point of your hipbones, like shown in the picture.
Costume Alterations Tips
The costumes are made in sections, then pieced together. If you unstitch the costume at the connecting hems you will hold one piece of sequin.
Generally the shoulder-straps are made quite long, so that they can fit a variety of shapes and sizes. It is difficult to lenghthen them but easy to shorten them. To begin with unstitch the straps of the bra and reposition them. In the back if you move them closer to the spine, in a "V" shape it will give more the feeling of support or you can cross the straps in the back to feel even more secure.
Sew the extra length of the straps inside your cup, rather than fold them under the back strap.
The long horizontal strap can be used to add two sets of hooks and eyes. Put one on either end of each overlapping strap.
The belts can be easily adjusted in the same way as the bras. Maybe it is enough to reposition the hooks and eyes. Make the top hook closer to the waist, tighter than the set below.
If your belt is quite large, it is important to remember to keep your pattern in the center on both the front and back of your costume. The belt is made in two pieces, stitched together. You can unstitch them and sew the pieces together overlapping, right through the sequin. Sew the two halves together at a point where your pattern will sit centered. Then you will adjust the other side equally by positioning the hooks and eyes accordingly.
If you don’t like to use cuffs around your arms you can use the cuffs around your ankles instead. If you need a little more width, just add wide elastic and sew it down.
Your headband should be tight. If you don't like to use the headband you can use it as a neck band/choker instead.
